OFYR ACCESSORIES – BUFFADOO SET BROWN

The Buffadoo set includes a masterfully crafted blowpipe and sturdy tongs/poker with a matching stand. The blowpipe features a leather handle and silicone mouthpiece and is used to direct oxygen into the OFYR and, once ignited, fan the flames and minimize smoke production. The tongs/poker makes it easier to add wood to the burning fire. Available in brown and black coated steel versions with brown or black leather handles respectively.

The optimal use of your Buffadoo

To get the most out of your Ofyr cooking units, it's best to follow the product videos with usage tips and carefully choose where you want your stove to stand. With the Buffadoo (blowpipe) you can make lighting much easier by adding oxygen and also keep the first smoke down - simply blow air into the center of the ignited flames via the blowpipe. The practical barbecue tongs help to always keep the glowing coals and new logs in the right place.

TIP: Choose the right firewood!

To get the best results when grilling, it is also important to have the right firewood: Only use dry wood - a slow-burning hardwood such as beech or ash is ideal. Tropical wood burns too hot and can possibly damage the cooking plate. Wet wood is difficult to light and creates unnecessary smoke. Do not use logs that are too large so that air can circulate well and always stack with the bark facing upwards. Ideally, as in the video, the wood is stacked in a block shape and lit in the middle. This allows oxygen to circulate optimally.

Cleaning and maintenance

The Buffadoos is made of aluminum and steel as well as a leather handle. The metal parts can be cleaned carefully with a sponge and, if necessary, a mild cleaning agent. Be careful not to scratch the metal coating. If a tool develops rust and corrosion over time due to damage to the coating, it can be carefully sanded off
